Side-facing garages, always.
Otter Wood's architectural guidelines require all garages to be side-loaded — no front-facing garage doors. The result is a streetscape of front façades, not driveways, and homes whose first impression is the architecture itself.
Plan early for a side- or rear-entry motor court. Common configurations include a side-load 3-car bay, a porte-cochère into a rear courtyard, or a detached carriage-style garage connected by a breezeway.
